More ram would be nice...and new magic keyboard which is expected btw

Just hope there’s a trackpad

Wow. Seeing all the rumored features listed like that makes me realize how little need there is to upgrade.

For me then I guess the new keyboard is what has me most curious. And pricing. Tim Cook always worries me.

The feature I’m looking for can either be software-based or hardware-based When you have the IPP Docked in the ASKF it would be nice if there was a dedicated voice to text button like there is on the software keyboard and if it doesn’t make it to the keyboard put it in the short cut section at the bottom of the screen examples in the screenshot

anytime I need to use voice to text I feel like I have to pull the iPad Pro out of the smart keyboard it would just be really nice if there was a button on screen and the shortcut bar that’s all I’m saying and it can be added to any and all that have smart keyboard cover

I know what you mean, basically a siri dictation shortcut key on the keyboard. That would be really handy and make things more easier.

I know this is about hardware, but I can honestly say “none” to the entire hardware list above.

I just want way better software that’s more refined and bugs squashed out and more usability features added for all the edge cases, particularly those of us trying to make it sub in for macOS usage at times.

The hardware, for me, has been WAY more than great for several generations.

People need to get over the fact that they’re looking for a mouse and a cursor the iPad will always be a touch system based on the history of the operating system and how things work.

MacBook MacBook pros the Apple portable computers were designed to a mouse and keyboard the iPad line is designed to be a touching your face using your finger or now an Apple Pencil for drawing I can’t believe that Apple is even looking to replace the touch interface with the cursor/mouse ever

Not replace - but augment.

There are loads of usage contexts where more precise cursor control are highly beneficial. If one is using the iPad docked with a keyboard, as Apple themselves demo’s them in stores, the place for that cursor control device is on the same plane as the keyboard (so a trackpad/mouse device adjacent to the keyboard).

A device like the iPad should endeavor to be as flexible as possible and offer many things to many people — and some have great uses for more precise and readily accessible cursor control than a Pencil and fingers can easily allow.

1st- more RAM
2nd- better keyboard (at least backlit and more lappable)
3rd-128GB base model
(4th-(not gonna happen) larger ipad, eg. 15in)

The rest is perfect as it is and CPU upgrade is a given... as is better camera based on rumors (not essential but why not...)

damn forget to add that to my poll larger screen. I would love a 15 inch screen.

Ok Ive added some new poll options at the bottom: larger screen, lighter and thinner and other.
