I've been searching for articles, but can't find anything. I often use my iPad mini 4th Gen with cellular as a hotspot and wonder which of the 2 new 2019 iPads or the 2017 iPad pro 10.5-inch has better Wi-Fi range or hotspot range. Does the larger form factor necessarily imply greater range and throughput, and do the extra speakers in the Pro impede range and throughput? Thanks!

I think that the larger form-factor will give you better battery life as they have to power a bigger screen. Normally the screen is off when I use the iPad as a hotspot. The thing is that there are so many places with WiFi these days that I don't really need hotspots unless I'm in an area that is sparsely populated.
