I am about to get an iMac 27'' this week, I want it mainly to watch HD Videos, I won't use it for any graphics work or even video/audi editing.

I have a question is there any different in HD video quality between the 3.2GHz Intel Core i3, and the 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5?

If there is no different I will pick up the i3 Intel Core.

Thank you in advance :)

I recently bought the 27" i3 and i'm thoroughly pleased with it. I would consider upgrading the RAM in the future but that would be more of a luxury upgrade than a necessary one.

I am just amazed how how much quicker this is than my UMB 2.4ghz 4gb (to be expected I guess). Anyway, 1080p videos are not an issue, but it does make me wish for some 1440p demos so I can see what it really looks like.
