If you're buying a new iMac, which model will you be buying? I'll probably be getting the 20-inch model because of the horrifically steep $400 price hike in Australia. You lucky Americans got a price cut.

I'm also in Australia and have ordered the 20-inch ... pretty expensive! I hope it is good! It's my first Mac!
Just got a new Imac.
First mac ever!! my wife uses them all the time so i have gone over to the dark side.
last gen 3.06 CPU, 2mb ram, 500 GB HD, 8800 GPU.
Just got from apple store $2412...

I'm still not 100%, but I think I'm going to go for the 2.66GHz 24". I just don't think I need to spend more on the next model up when I don't do anything particularly intensive.
Im keeping my Jan 08, 20" Alu imac. Not enough of an increase for me to upgrade. Well spec increase that is not price

Yeah the 4-6 is going to feel like a long time but in the long run its well worth it, I'd rather wait for the faster hardware than get one now with the specs I don't want.
A week is too much for me
Yeah it feels like it lol -- but I had to get it since I want to do some gaming + it was only a $40 more upgrade.
