Hi, I currently have a PC and an Apple 20" (1680 x 1050) LCD monitor. I am considering going back to the Mac. I will most likely be buying refurb. I am torn between the following:

21.5" 3.2ghz i3 w/ 5670 512mb and 20" Apple LCD

vs.

27" 3.2ghz i3 w/ 5670 512mb and sell the 20" (dont have room for both)

I want to use the system for iMovie, XCode, and World of Warcraft. Any suggestions?

I'd go with the 27" unless you are wanting to run a lot of apps at once in which case the dual displays may be better.

As long as the apps are not full screen (like WoW), would a couple fit comfortably side by side on the 27? I assume given the same cpu and video and ram that WoW would run at a higher frame rate on the smaller LCD.

I can fit two windows on my 24". With 27", two apps side by side will work brilliantly.

The extra resolution won't be a huge deal in games, not more than 10FPS I would say
