Which IOS version is your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus running on?

My iPhone 7 Plus is currently running IOS 12.3.1. I am hesitant if I should upgrade it to the only option of IOS 15.8(19H370: 20231026). I concern it will slow down my iPhone and cause a lot of glitches. What is your experience with your iPhone 7/ 7 Plus on IOS 15.8? Are you regret to upgrade your iPhone 7/Plus to IOS 15? Thx!

It’s fine. My 6S is on 15.8 and everything functions perfectly.

Phones don’t slow down as much anymore like the iPhone 5 era.

iPhone 7+ should be ok on 15.8. A10 was a decent SOC and your phone has 3gb ram. My X on iOS16 worked very well. Only issue I can think of would be the condition of your battery. If it's worn you may see some performance issues, if 90% or above you should be ok

Thx for your info. The battery health of mine is 83% now. I plan to replace the battery by Apple when it drops to 80%.
