iPad Air 2 — good for hours of viewing.

But eye strain is idiosyncratic.

One key to helping avoid it is the optometrist-ophthalmologist recommended 20-20-20 rule.

1. Every 20 minutes, take a break. Look at objects 20 feet (or more) away from you for at least 20 seconds.

Here are 3 others tips.

2. Remember to blink your eyes fairly regularly. That takes some effort to remember, but helps.

3. It's also smart to get up and walk around for a minute every 20-30 minutes. That's good for the body and general health, too.

4. Finally, take a complete break every hour or two and do some other activity that doesn't involve staring a screen or fixing your focus at a set distance — such as watching TV!

Doing those things will reduce or even eliminate eye strain and tired eyes for many, if not most, people!

Instead of making a poll that ask which iPad doesn’t give you eye strains , you should just make one that ask which iPad gives you eye strains.

You also don’t need to worry about True Tone , night shift or dark mode because you can turn those on or off as it’s just preference for the user.

if your eyes are very sensitive then you should avoid the mini , I would say iPad Pro due to them having promotion up to 120hz. But it’s best you go to the store to look at the actual tablet yourself , spend 10 minutes on one while holding it . Put it down walk around the store or table then try the other ones.

How you set up your device is an important factor. I can and do use my iPad for hours as an e-book reader, web browser and so on. Using my wife’s iPad for more than 10 seconds makes my eyes hurt because of how she insists on setting it up. That is not an exaggeration.
