Hello, I will be looking to sell one iPad.

I am a teacher. I really enjoy using an iPad in the classroom. Question, I have two iPads, will sell one.

I have a 2nd gen 12.9 iPad Pro, just replaced under AppleCare+ so brand new , and I have a 9th gen iPad. Both have 256gb, and AppleCare+. Which one do you think has more longevity of use?

The 12.9 has an older processor, but more ram than the 9th gen, bigger screen too. The 9th is newer and the processor is several generations newer, time wise it should be supported longer?

Thanks. Just trying to get best bang for the buck. Would of just kept the 12.9, but got an insane deal on the 9th.

The iPad 9th gen has the Bionic chipset with neural engine so despite the 4GB RAM on the 2nd gen 12.9, I'm guessing the 9th gen would have longer support.

That said, can you downsize from 12.9" to 10.2"? I'd try using the 9th gen exclusively for a week or so and deciding then if you can live with the smaller size.

Thank you. Will try that. It is a wonderful tool for teaching.
