I currently have an 11 inch iPad Pro M4 and a 14 inch base MacBook Pro M3 Pro. I use the iPad Pro for emailing, media streaming, and web browsing, and some work. I’m not too sure if I want to keep the iPad Pro 11 inch. I mainly use my 11 inch iPad Pro M4 with the Magic Keyboard or Smart Folio while I’m in bed or while on my recliner sofa chair. I really don’t want the 12.9 inch iPad Pro M2 due to the blooming display.

The best, the 13 M4. You don't need more then just an iPad for your use, but the best is the 13 M4.

The “best fit” for those use cases is probably the 13” Air. The OLED display on the Pros is great for movies, etc, but you’re also getting (and paying for) the better chip. If you’re not really going to be doing anything that will take advantage of that, you’ll have to decide if the OLED display alone is worth the $500 difference between the 13” Air and 13” M4 Pro.

You won’t get HDR with the M2 iPad Air.

M4 iPad Pro with OLED and quad speakers objectively offer the best display and sound on an iPad. It just depends on whether one thinks it’s worth the cost.

Unless you need HDR, you can stream with even a base iPad for $400.

Lol, even my dad’s iPad 5th gen (A9/2GB) handles those duties just fine. He doesn’t use a gazillion Safari tabs like I do so even web browsing is more than fine on that.

OP, if your requirements are HDR and no blooming then the only choices are 11" M4 or 13" M4. Pick the size you want.

Best for movies - if you really want best of the best, 13" M4 iPP, standard display. But honestly, previous iPad Pros were quite good too. And it's not like Air is *bad* at it.

i have 11 inch iPad Pro M4 now but best for streaming is my 65 inch OLED LG.
I had iPad Pro 2020, 2021 (M1) 12.9 invh and I never ever watch movie or series on it - except vacation but there is mostly TV with streaming options as well now
