I'm 100% sure to get a 6.1".
I could get the pro if there is extra stuff I care (less bezel/notch or higher Hz or way better screen).
According to leaks the difference vs Pro and non pro is about Camera, LiDAR, Stainless steel and maybe 6Gb RAM. I honestly don't care of all this.

So I think I would go for a regular 6.1" in 256Gb (I like having a lot of media content directly on my phone) and I will keep it for at least 3 years ;)

If I upgrade from the XS, which won’t be until the spring because pandemic, I’ll be getting the 12 Pro in Midnight Blue.

Tended to be a Max buyer since I assumed I thought I needed the increased screen real estate, but I bought an 11 Pro for a second phone to go with my 11 Pro Max and I love it. The reduced screen size has not been an issue. The 11 Pro Max is just too large and heavy. The Xr, which the 11 Pro replaced, had the ideal screen size and weight. So 12 Pro it is. The new 12 Pro (if that is what it turns out to be) will suit unless they have extra features in the 12 Pro Max that make putting up with the extra size and weight worthwhile. Seems unlikely from the rumors. I generally find the weight of the large phones to be the issue.

I am waiting to see the event myself. There has to be more differences than that.

I'm waiting for the event to get the official scoop on all the features but it definitely will be one of the Pro models to replace my X. I'm leaning towards the 6.1 Pro but I've been toying with the idea of getting the 6.7 Pro as my Air2 is going to lose support or just plain run out of battery sooner or later..

I am currently using an iPhone XS Max and I will have to check out the iPhone 11 at the store to see if 6.1 is big enough for me. I had the 7 Plus before that and I am just used to that bigger size but at the same time I am like "do I really need this much for those extra 0.6 inches, if the rest is the same"

This gen will be about the extreme....the most sold iphones will be the mini and the max

Coming from a XS, I will look the differences between regular 12 and 12 Pro.

But I'm leaning towards the regular at the moment. We'll see :)

I’m already sold on the mini. I’ll be upgrading from a 1st gen SE and looking forward to getting a significant upgrade in a similar form factor.

I am definitely getting a larger device than my iPhone X and the 12 Pro Max is looking most appealing. It’s interesting seeing everyone want a smaller phone when I am completely set on a larger one.

iPhone 12 Pro, but thing if 128 GB will be enough? Currently on iPhone 8 with 64 GB and still 15 GB free...

Is it worthy to go for 256 or 512 GB?

Think that is because although the phone itself is smaller, the screen is to the edge now so in many cases people are downsizing but getting a bigger screen. I’m hoping the 6.1” feels smaller than my 8+. I love a larger screen but carrying the thing is often awkward.

Definitely getting the iphone 12 mini, to complement ipad Air 4 perfectly. After using the SE 2020 i just cant give up the light, compact, one handed, pocketable form factor. However, if Apple drop a bomb on us and include power button Touch id in the pro models, then....

Likely the Mini. Upgrading from a 4S. Depending on price, I may pick up a 11 Pro instead. I am a bit sad the 12 won't have 120Hz displays, so I might skip another generation again... :)

I was 100% all in with getting the Mini but after Apple revealed the new iPad Air with TouchID integrated into the power button, I'm gonna wait for the iPhone to get that.
