I would like to see which model you plan on getting and why. I am personally looking forward to an iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra.

15 Pro Max/Ultra, definitely. I was skeptical when the 6 Plus first came out as I really enjoyed single hand use ... but the 6 Plus had better cameras than the 6. I figured I'd avail myself of the 2-week return policy, get the 6 Plus, and if I couldn't adapt to the larger size, return it for a 6. So glad I did that, took me a couple of days to get used to the size, but by then I was absolutely hooked on the greatly improved user experience with the larger screen.

So, I'm a 'size matters' kind of iPhone user. 🤓

Currently have the 14 Pro, and I'm upgrading to...

...the basic 15. LOL

1. The 14 Pro has a nice camera, but truthfully? While it takes fantastic pictures, it's not like the photos taken by my wife's 14 are trash. Were I an amateur photographer, it'd be one thing, but I'm not.
2. The dynamic island is nice, but I can easily do w/o it, and in any event, from what reports say, it's coming to the base 15 anyways.
3. As dumb as this sounds...the weight increase from the 14 to the 14 Pro may be small, but when you have to hold it up for an hour or so, it's noticeable.

There are other reasons, but the 14 Pro was my first iPhone "splurge" nad while nice, it wasn't really justified for me.

Got my Apple account already loaded for 15 Pro Max - sold my 14PM already, so I'm using a loaner iPhone 13 atm.

13 pro to … 15 Pro

Max Size is to big !

I’d prefer if the ultra is 6.1 but guessing it won’t be as it’ll replace the pro max

Be interesting to see if 15 gets 120hz and dynamic island as standard

I currently have the 13 pro. Going to be upgrading to the 15PM/Ultra. In blue. I have silver now and I find it boring after 2 years. First world problems! I would have kept the 13 pro for another year but the 15PM I’m gonna keep for 3 years

Have I waited for the release of 15 series, I might have purchased either 15 Plus or 15 Pro Max or 15 Ultra...

I'll be keeping my iPhone 14 Pro Max for probably until 2028 or once I think an upgrade is necessary...

I have a 14 Pro Max 1 TB Purple iPhone. 1 TB because I had intended to keep it at least 2 years and wanted to future proof my storage a little.

I had to drop back to a refurbished Silver 256 GB 12 Pro Max because the display on the 14 Pro Max eventually started giving me migraine headaches.

I’m going to trade the 14 Pro Max for a 512 GB 15 Pro Max. Unfortunately it’s possible that the 15 Pro Max won’t work out for me either. But it will be fun to try it. Maybe I’ll be lucky. I’m going for 512 GB this time because I frankly overpaid for 1 TB and 512 GB will serve me fine.

I go for the Pro Max models for the longer battery life, premium camera features and because through trial and error the larger size phone is sometimes easier to hold than smaller but still heavy smaller pro phones without cramping my hands.

As for color I have no idea!

My daughter is doing the same. She is too active and dropped her 14 Pro too much. The battery life on her phone was a massive disappointment for the price. She decided she would do better to get a less expensive lighter phone now that she’s in college and has other expenses.

The SE 2022 would do the trick.

Well, there's that too. It's not that I don't like the Pro, but I use it more as a phone/browsing device than I do a camera...and for that the 15 will be just fine. My wife's 14 is just fine, TBH, but USB-C, dynamic island, a bit better battery and camera is more than enough of an upgrade for me. I'll likely hold onto the 15 for quite a while.

Other than the weight difference going from stainless steel to aluminum and losing the the tele camera, wouldn't the rest of the specs be the exact same?

iPhone 15 is going to have the same A16 chip as the iPhone 14 Pro.
Same 48MP camera.
Dynamic Island will be there too.

It seems that repairability should be easier on the 15 vs the 14 Pro.

Not really sure if that would count as an "upgrade" or a "downgrade" lol. If anything, it seems like more of a "wash" to me 🤷‍♂️ especially since you should be able to make an even trade for it with no additional cash needed.

Well, yeah, thus the LOL in my previous post. I meant to put the word 'upgrading' in quotes. ;)

But that's kind of my point - same chipset so same speed; same 48MP camera; same dynamic island. Semi-improved battery life over the 14; USB-C, and iOS17, plus it'l be lighter than the 14 Pro (or 15 Pro).

So yeah, it's definitely more of a wash, but given it retains the stuff I'd actually want it to retain, and will be lighter, for my use case, it's worth it. The cost should be pretty much even.

Currently have the 14 Pro Max, but I'm upgrading to the 15 PM. Not sure on the color yet, based off the rumors, I'm torn between the titan gray and the Blue.
Same, although have regular 14 Pro here (not Max) thinking I'll finally make the jump to bigger size and battery.

Will be interesting to see if price changes or of Apple introduces the Ultra lineup/name.
