Other which Iphone would you buy as a first time user?

Hi,
I'm currently using a samsung note 9 (it just gets the security updates and Android is not pushing any OS updates because of the age of the phone, and the alternatives from Samsung like the Z fold are way to expensive) and planning to move over to my first Iphone. My question is what would you suggest buy a Iphone 12 Pro now or wait for the Iphone 13 pro?

If your current phone is still working, then I'd suggest waiting until the 13's are out. Likely less than a month so by waiting, you'd get the latest model. Probably not a huge difference in the 12 versus 13, but if it were me and we are this close, I'd wait until the 13's are out.

The iPhone 12 will drop in price about $100 when the iPhone 13 comes out. The iPhone 13 may be more expensive than the currently priced iPhone 12. The pro versions of the iPhone 12 will likely be discontinued.

If you like your phones big then def wait for the 13 Pro Max. Forget about the price difference in the 12 PM to the 13 PM. That will become insignificant over the life of the phone unless you can get a 12 PM for 400-500 cheaper (new). Same applies to the Pro.

Definitely wait for the 13 it should be here in a couple weeks.
if you like big phones and feel it maybe difficult to goto a smaller phone it gets no better than the Pro Max model.
Being a premium model you'll get all of the flagship features and it's stainless steel bezel that isn't talked about much, it's beautiful device as well.

For a first time iPhone user I'd recommend something new. It will have all the current features and best support. Nothing older than the iPhone 11. I would also suggest the standard size device for the uninitiated. The max versions are polarizing and once the new user is hooked on iOS they can decide to go bigger next year if they so choose.

Buy used but clean, i.e.: Mint Condition, from someplace reputable like Swappa. Avoid eBay like the plague. Once the iPhone 13 drops you'll see more and more 11s and 12s for sale. Early adopters are already listing their older models now, but that will accelerate once the new models begin to ship and prices for these older models will fall.

I would 100% wait for the 13 series to come out in a matter of weeks; even if you don’t get a 13 series phone the 12 and 11 will be discounted further.
