Deciding which is a better deal and if I should buy now or wait for potentially a better item.

2019 ipad air 3, 64gb with air pods pro- $600
Possibly; 2020 ipad air 4, 64gb- $530

How urgently do you need one? We don’t know when a new iPad Air will be announced, but it would be nice if it was this fall. In case you’re interested, there are like-new Apple refurb iPad Air 3 64GB wi-fi in the Apple refurb store for $419. They come with the one-year warranty and option to buy Applecare+.

I was hoping to have an ipad before schools starts this fall, but I wouldn't say I need one now urgently. Also I don't want to wait that long after September as I'm gonna be using it for school

Which begs the question....if the ipad is announced this September, do you know how long after announcing will it be available for the public to buy?

I have been thinking about it. Many students are buying iPads right now. If I worked at Apple, I’d launch the iPad 8 as a press release this month. I think they should do that.

Exactly!
I'm here going crazy....I've read so many posts about the new ipad air 4 coming out this September, then other posts that say it'll come out next year. AAHHH!

Consider a 2018 iPad Pro. There are some excellent deals from B&H Video right now.

The deals are excellent, but after buying the pencil and other accessories with the pro, the cost would almost be as much as a laptop :(

Do you know if Apple Store employees know about unreleased Apple products? I went to a store last week looking for a new iPad and they tell me they think a new iPad is coming. Idk if they said that because they heard the rumors, or because they have info.

I don’t believe they know any more than we do. Maybe if stock comes in that’s embargoed for a couple of days pending an announcement, but that would be it.

If you need one in time for school starting just pickup the current air.
I have one being delivered tomorrow, the wait time for the 11 inch pro was too long and I’m not too sure I need all the extra features of it for taking notes and reading PDF’s.

Guys, I found this great deal and decided I might purchase a pro!
Its an ipad pro 3rd gen, 12.9", 64gb with wifi+4g LTE...for only $699!

How good is this deal in your opinion?
It’s a nice price, but that’s only part of the consideration. Is it used, new, or a refurb? What’s the return policy? Is there a warranty?
