Which is faster?

I have a dual 500mhz powermac, I'm going to sell that to get a Core Duo Mini, how much faster will that be in like ilife and just general surfing. I know that this is kind of a stupid question. Would Photoshop be faster in the core then the powermac b/c the core is intel? Will I see a significant improvement over my powermac?

You will definitely see a significant performance increase, even when using Rosetta. You won't be disappointed.

thats the sound of the speed of the intel mac mini duo giving the 500mhz a drag.

the mac mini will be faster than the 500mhz under rosetta. and then u have all of the programs being ported to intel chips to look forward to---> --->--->--->--->--->--->---> BA-BOOM!
