Its a toss up between the first iphone and the 4 and 4s. They just feel so sturdy and comfie in the hand. I'd have to go with the first iphone as my favorite built though. Loved the feel of it.

I've had the 3GS, 4S and now the 5. I have to say out of all of them I prefer the 5. It's a joy to hold, and the aesthetics constantly draw my eye. I do wonder if that opinion would change though if they ever release another rounded-back model as I really enjoyed that as well. :)

I have the iPhone 3GS. It was the first iPhone given to me. I like it, but I like my iPhone 5, the first iPhone I ever bought much, much more. As lucastatic says…"It's a joy to hold, and the aesthetics constantly draw my eye."

I feel the same way. I love how my 5 feels in my hands. The 3GS, not so much. I never had the original iPhone or the second one and while I think they are attractive I have about as much like for them as I do for my 3GS. As to the iPhone 4 and 4S, personally I find them to be short, fat and ugly. That's just my opinion, lots of other people like the iPhone 4 and 4S and as it's an iPhone it's still a great phone. It's just that it's aesthetics (ESPECIALLY when you add in a bumper or a case) do not appeal to me at all.

But hey…you asked. :)

I have the 3GS, 4S and 5. The i5 for me is the most good looking one among them all. Once you get used to it, you don't go back. Sometimes I hold my 4S and realize I don't have feelings for it anymore.

When I opened to the box for the original iPhone, it was the most beautiful object I have ever seen! And the user experience was just mind blowing compared to anything else I had tried (symbian, palm, wm etc.).

Since then I have had the 3G, 4 and now the 5, but the first remains my favourite.

IMO the iPhone 4 was the most radical and awesome design change of all the phones. When it first came out, it was stunning. Sometimes it's easy to forget how amazing things were in the past when we have things like the iPhone 5. So, I love my 5, but in terms of what was given at the time, I think the 4 was the most different, even more than the 5.

I have all iPhones except iPhone 5 and 3G/3GS is the best for holding it. It doesn't have edges and it fits in hands perfectly. Though I've only hold an iPhone 5, the shape is better than iPhone4/4S and it's so much lighter.

It's funny that when I hold a Samsung Note/S3, it's so light but also feels so cheap (not well build) while iPhone 5 is light and feels well build.
