Hey guys, I've just purchased my 2nd CD Macbook (refurb). The first was for my girlfriend for Christmas, and it's amazing. Apple even gave us the 1gb of RAM and 80gb HDD (thanks!). Anyway, the computer I just ordered is the same one I ordered for her... the 2.0 CD with Superdrive. I'm hoping I will have the same fortune that she did, but we'll have to wait and see. Anyway, I do a lot of work on my desk, and I hate doing work on the Macbook at the desk, it feels like the screen is too small, or that I'm straining my eyes or something. So I want to get an external display. Probably in the 19/20" widescreen area. I was at CompUSA and they have a Viewsonic 20" Widescreen HD LCD for 349, which I'd like to get. What I'm wondering is will it work with the macbook, or will any screen work for that matter? I don't know if only certain screens will work or what.. But if you guys have some other LCD's you think I should consider, let me know. Thanks in advance.

I don't own a LCD, but am looking forward to buying one. So I have done some research on the website http://www.hardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=78 where you can find a lot of reviews and pictures on LCDs. You may want to have a look at it before your purchase.

The graphic card of Macbook, intel GMA 950, can only support up to 2048x1536 resolution. So it should have no problem with 24" or smaller LCDs.
