which Mac OSX versions of iTunes no longer connect to the App store?

I can connect to the Store using OS 10.13.6 and iTunes 10.4.1. But cannot change payment method.
I expect I'll have to boot iTunes 12.8.2 to do that. I've got that, and can run it without wrecking 10.4.1, but apparently it's been over a year since I bought or rented anything from the store.
