Which MacBook Pro?

Hi,

I plan on purchasing a 14” MacBook Pro and trying to decide on config. For work I use a separate dedicated computer, so this one would be for personal activities like searching web, watching videos, movies and live streams etc. I also like to work on my golf swing by recording videos and using swing analysis software. Has there been any glaring problems with the base 14” model, 8 core, 16 RAM, 512 SSD?

I'll be honest. If you have another main computer, the Pro may be overkill for your use. Have you considered the Air?

Yea, I think I’m set on a pro though. I like the additional ports without having to use adaptors for hdmi etc. I also like that’s it’s a new release.
