hey guys,

So im planning on upgrading my Macbook memory to at least 2gbs. I'd just like to know which brand i should go with? and/or does brand really matter? Should i try to hunt for the cheapest price i can find? or go with the old saying 'you get what you pay for'?

Current looking at two deals:

Cheapest one i could find with a 5min search:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146683

Went to the Crucial site, cuz ive heard its a reliable site:

http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=6C41F532A5CA7304

I hate to be the one to say this, but do a search. This has been covered so much lately. I personally went with Crucial for my RAM because I've had it before and trust the company.

Thanks aaronw, i just wanted to konw if brand actually matters. But i will do the search.

What seems to be most important is warranty. All ram of the same specs should run the same.

while I went with Crucial for my RAM... OWC (otherworldcomputing.com) is also a good company.
