1. Is there a certain brand and speed that is recommended for the Note2?
2. Can you really use either a microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC card with the Note2 as its memory card?

I have a 16 GB Sandisk microSDHC. I store all my music & photos on it. No issues with it so far...

i had a 32 sandisk and it failed after about a month. its guaranteed but i threw out the receipt so make sure you keep it. not sure if its common or not?

The best bang for the buck would be a SanDisk Ultra 64GB Micro-SDXC as the guy ^ points out. The performance isn't bad either.

1. lower class memory cards are cheaper but slower. so if money is not an issue, go for class 10. sandisk cards are good. there are also samsung branded cards too, pretty damn reliable, but might cost a little more than sandisk.

2. yes, you can use any of those cards. for a beast like Note 2, sdxc 64GB is recommended. go for the max!

Bought my 64gb SDXC Class 10 at best buy for $39.99. It was on their 'Deal of the day' promo.

Thanks for the replies.

1. The part I'm confused by is aren't all of these cards different sizes? OR are they around the same size? Do they all just go into the same slot without a problem?

2. I'm not really interested in playing back much music or video on the phone. I'd like to use the card just for storing photos and videos taken with the phone. In this case, which class would I need?

Thanks again.

1. MicroSDs are all the same size. HC, XC, are just all different specifications. I personally have a 32GB SDHC in my 3DS. It works great. I would recommend you get the biggest card the Note can take. Because you'll be able to most likely transfer it to another device later on. Whether it's another phone, camera, etc. The cards come in handy when you least expect it.

2. You'll still need a card with good write read/write speeds. In this case, get one that works well with cameras. Read the reviews at Amazon if needed.
