Hi,

I'm purchasing an SSD for my late 2012 mac mini soon, I've narrowed it down too 2 that I've seen on Crucial. One's a 240gb and the others a 480gb. Now I don't store much on my mac so I'm not sure if I'll need to 480gb one or not. These are the 2 I need to choose from, unless anyone has any better recommendations.

Thanks in advance for any advice it's much appreciated.

If i were you i'd go and take a loon at the Samsung 840, 840 EVO and 840 Pro…

Also check out Annandtech's website for a nice sad comparison tool :D

Good luck.

The 480GB one. Larger SSD's are faster. If you spend on a lower one, when you run out of memory, how likely is it tht you'll be able to spend the amount on the larger one? Best to make the investment now.

Thanks for the advice Shane. And does the 480gb Crucial one seem sufficient or would the samsung ones be the better option?
