Which one should I get?

I'm thinking of getting a x86 emulator to run windows on because I might need to use MS access (and some other business/accounting software) in the future if I do sell my windows laptop.

However, I've been doing some searching online and there are so many.
I don't really care how much it costs, I just want it to be fast! Now, I know if can't be as fast as a real PC or at native G4/G5 speed, but I just want it to be the fastest one of all of them.

Which one do you recommend?

I've heard of Virtual PC (duh), Qemu, Q, Guest PC (the one that is always advertised on MR).

I have used Virtual PC and it is a lot faster then the older versions, but still not fast enough, I tested it on a Mac Mini. But on the Mac Mini, it does get the job done.

I agree - VPC is the best of a very slow set of options.

Better than nothing... usually.

You will need at least one gig of ram to press the start menu.

I can't comment on the others but I use VPC everyday to run my (very important) medical billing software and it does a fine job. I'm using it with windows 2000 on a 1.33 Ghz iBook. If you just need to use accounting software it should be fine.

It has some nice features like drag/drop between the mac and windows environment, and the ability to create multiple or duplicate PCs.

Keep the PC! I know a PC takes up more space, is extreamly ugly and noisy, but if performance matters to you there really isnt an alternative. I use VPC and it gets so frustrating (you can waste so much time just waiting).
