hi looking for a photo editor and also a logo maker for my business. need to make a new logo. have tried adobe photo photo shop but dosn't offer the chrome effect for my text . the equivalent on pc is ulead photoimpact which means i have to still use my crappy pc instead of my mac please help onemacmini

Ulead's PhotoImpact looks more like iPhoto, from what I saw on their web site, than something that you would use to make a logo with. Adobe Photoshop has a chrome effect which can be applied to just text. There is GIMP and other graphics programs that you can find over at www.versiontracker.comonemacmini said:

chrome text is very easy to do in photoshop. in fact there might be a built-in swatch for it somewhere in there...
