Can anyone give some references of PCIe cards that host 2x NVMe SSD (not for RAID) in a Mac Pro 5.1 with Big Sur (OpenCore 0.7.6) ?

The first post lists only a couple examples of 2x NVMe PCIe cards. Maybe it needs updating. They are usually much less expensive than the 4x or 6x or 8x PCIe cards (only cards with a PCIe switch can be used to support more than one NVMe). You shouldn't have any problem with them using macOS High Sierra or later.
