Definitely B. I see no reason why the bezels need to be symmetrical.

My ideal though would be to keep the X as is, except show videos without forcing them to be centered. Just start after the notch and continue to the end of the phone. It is idiotic to be forced to either waste space on the right (which also means making movies shorter due to width of movies) or to lose part of the image under the notch. The X doesn't need to lose the silly ears to make video work.

I would like to see more criticism of their deceptive 5.8 measurement.

If B and C are both 16:9 aspect ratio, then your picture for A is incorrect and not a fair comparison.

If your question is really 'what preference is your zoomed in video', my answer is that I'd never be stupid enough to zoom in and crop my video.

I kind of hate the curved corners for video too. Videos are rectangular. You're losing the 4 edges of the film (and a chunk of the left edge with the notch).

Does OP work for Apple? Are they planning for iPhone X's successor based on this poll? Depending on the total width between the edge of the phone to the video content on both sides of the phone added up, if A has the least amount of width, I'd go with A. If C has the least amount I'd go with C.

I want as small overall edge to video width as possible.

A look really bothering
B look not full screen
C is perfect

but sorry ... apple doesnt has any iphone match with C ;) yet

The only problem with C is that what Apple is telling us is the hardware can't take a reduced bezel of that height at the top of the phone. If that were the case, then the notch on A should match the thickness of the bezel at the top of C.

I'm pretty sure movies are normally wider than HD (16:9). When I stream Netflix movies on a 1080p monitor, I see thick black bars on the top and bottom. The notch will obstruct content. The corners may or may not, depending upon how a movie fits on the screen.

But, yeah, zooming in already means you don't give a crap about seeing the entire shot.
