Folks at Apple store were telling me both the Belkin and Morphie they carried were but I do not think so. If so or not, which current charger is?
I thought the Apple charging pad was compatible, but not a standard Qi charger.
Did you tried with the S3?Could you get the Apple Store to demonstrate either of those chargers by putting your watch on it ? I have one -not belkin or morphie- for my note 8 but the watch doesn't work on it
Thanks, I saw a tear down video shows that the S3 has a new Qi wireless charging module inside. Maybe it has to be the newer one?Yes - I tried it this weekend. My cheap wireless charger does not work with the s3.
I am waiting to buy the pad (forgot its name) from Apple that will be released next year.
I wonder if Apple hasn’t “unlocked” the feature in the watchOS software since the pad isn’t ready.
Maybe an attempt to prevent lost sales to other wireless chargers in the meantime....
there are only a few bands that would allow it to work the sports band won't and any loops won't.
yep I have made a few charging stands. this is my latest oneThat's why it's not a big deal for me at this point. Fact is, being so messy and disorganised, using cables and stands allow me to pile on a few devices a charging mat can't! LOL
Which ones?
