Folks at Apple store were telling me both the Belkin and Morphie they carried were but I do not think so. If so or not, which current charger is?

Could you get the Apple Store to demonstrate either of those chargers by putting your watch on it ? I have one -not belkin or morphie- for my note 8 but the watch doesn't work on it

I would guess it is my cheap no name charger that is the problem - not the watch. It can charge the note 8 just fine.

Anyone found a compatible Qi charger yet? There have been a few articles but the only device listed that charges a AW3 for sure is a $43 battery. I just want a simple dock though.

I am so excited about this new wireless charging capability for Series 3, but I am waiting to buy the pad (forgot its name) from Apple that will be released next year. I am sure it will cost at least 159 bucks so I began saving my money :D

I have a Samsung Quick Charge pad that works fine with my iPhone 8, but does not charge my S3.

Not sure how much a Qi charger would work for me when I have “loops” with my Watch. I also use like Nightstand mode.

I wonder if Apple hasn’t “unlocked” the feature in the watchOS software since the pad isn’t ready.

Maybe an attempt to prevent lost sales to other wireless chargers in the meantime....

there are only a few bands that would allow it to work the sports band won't and any loops won't.

That's why it's not a big deal for me at this point. Fact is, being so messy and disorganised, using cables and stands allow me to pile on a few devices a charging mat can't! LOL

Wow. That is the spirit I like. Smart guy.

Wish I had some sort of magnet so that I could try whether mine would activate charging.
