Click to expand... Apple uses Samsung and Elpida RAM. Your machine can use 1.35 V RAM, which is more efficient. Intel lists a few Ivy Bridge (mobile platform) compatible RAM (1333 and 1600 MHz) modules: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/ww...600-sodimm-chief-river-validation-results.pdf (1.35 V) and http://www.intel.com/content/dam/ww...600-sodimm-chief-river-validation-results.pdf (1.5 V) You need the DIMM Part Number from the table in the PDF.
