I have a 2006 macmini with only 1gb of ram what ram, do i buy for it (The full name and model). I only want to put in 1 more gb?

Help:confused::confused::confused::confused:

That machine takes 200-pin PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM ram. It can use up to 2GB or 3.3GB if you flash the MacMini1,1 firmware onto it.

If it is a late 2006 model, you need 200-pin 667 MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 SO-DIMMs, also know, that the maximum is 2 GB and the Mac mini you have probably has two 512 MB modules, thus you need to buy two 1 GB modules to get one more GB of RAM.
The same applies for an early 2006 model.

You can find a guide here or on YouTube and RAM can be found on Newegg or many other vendors.

How many threads are you going to start on this????

You've already been told what kind of memory your Mini uses.

Can the macmini 2006 support 1gb Eahc slot?

Was wondering i know my macmini can support 2gb ram so wasthing can each slot support 1gb each>?

Since the Mac mini has only two RAM slots and supports 2 GB of RAM, it is safe to assume that it supports 1 GB per slot, otherwise how would one get to 2 GB with less than 1 GB per slot with two slots?

so wasthing
Is that an Australian thing? I pride myself with understanding Australian English quite well, but this has me confused.
