So thats my question to you guys - saw a lot of discussion about that but no one really seemed to have clue because of the connectors.

I strongly assume it will be upgradeable with normal 3rd party ram however - as thats the way it is with the whole mac lineup and apple certainly wont take that option away from their so beloved pro clientele.

Do you think that any 1866 mhz ECC DDR3 will work with it?

Any suggestions as to the manufacturers or brands (Crucial, OWC, aso.)?

Thanks!

ps: links would be nice

There's a couple recent threads on this... Hynix and Crucial both have sticks... Links in the other threads.

Thanks VirtualRainz, but I'm not sure thats true.

Could you post a link to those existing threads?

OWC will have compatible ram, I don't know if it will be available on launch date, but they specialize in apple compatible products, and they have the best 3rd party quality RAM, lifetime warranty(on their brand), and the best and USA based customer service, in my experience.

People are also thinking the graphics processors will be upgradeable.
