Which Screen is Better - MacBook (glossy) or MacBook Pro (matte or glossy)?

Which has the best viewing angles?

Which produces the sharpest, clearest text?

Which is brightest?

In my opinion both have the same viewing angle and brightness. The glossy in my books were alot sharper and had clearer text. People in the thread that was linked also seem to agree with me that also got a glossy.


If you are comparing literally the screens of the MacBook and the MacBook Pro, then the MacBook Pro seems to have a less viewing angle but is ALOT more brighter.

Viewing angles are similar as both use TN panels. The MBP (LED-backlit 15.4") is noticeably brighter. Glossy vs. matte is a preference.
