Which size leather loop band?

my wrist is 180cm which is basically right in between the medium and large sizes. I read on hear one guy got the large size and the band wrapped almost all around, but I didn't know the size of his wrist.

I have a 171mm wrist and the medium fits great, there is a little room left. According to Apple the medium goes up to 185mm wrists.
