Which speakers do you think would go better with an iMac?

Logitech Z-4i

JBL Creature II

I like them both, and they are about the same price. The JBLs have a treble control whereas the Logitechs do not (to my understanding). So which do you think would go better with an iMac? Also, there are green LEDs under the white JBLs. Is it possible to replace those with a different color? I don't really want green.

JBL hands down. But I'm not really a fan of standing speakers.

Tough choice...the price only swayed me toward the jbl's.

Personally I don't really like the looks of either...sorry.

Okay, I don't need super good and pricy speakers. I'm getting one of these two sets. I currently have the silver ones, and I like them. But still one question remains unanswered. The white JBLs have a green LED under them correct? Then is it possible to change the color of the LED?

The Creature II's look cool, although they're reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaally small, and you practically have to put the subwoofer on the desk with them. The Z-4i's are much more substantial and are probably the better of the two. Both sound like arse to me, so it's hard to say. I'd go with the Z-4i's though.

Well then what are some reasonable speakers that are less than, say $120? They gotta look good too...

Yes you could replace the LEDs if you have a soldering iron and some LEDs, go blue though. Creature II speakers look awesome

Given a choice between these two only I`d go for JBL. But I know nothing bout sound quality of either of them.

What about the Black ones? I plan on getting those to match my BlackBook.

How about finding these and adding a third party sub?

Apple Design Powered Speakers II (circa 1997 - 1998).

I'd say the Creatures also, for an iMac of the current design, as far as my personal aesthetic tastes go. The pictures of the iMac with those speakers on the Amazon site didn't look that great to me. I think they'd be a great match to the ACD, the Mini, the MP, MBP, etc, though. Just not the iMac.
