Which SSD for iMac 2017?

Hello there,

i am honest from the beginning, i am not a mac person. I am buying a used mac to suprise my wife but the problem i have is that every used mac i find just has a 1TB hard drive in it. So i decided to buy a used mac, a SSD and then later on let a technician put the SSD in.

My question is, which SSD 500GB is cheap, good and will fit into the iMac 2017(4K, Quadcore, Radeon 555)

Go to a reputable Apple Servicer and buy what they are selling. There have been issues with some brands.
