Which SSD for Imac?

is this one of the fastest ssd i can get for the imac i5? Also would i need to buy an adapter, I want to put this ssd in the imac 27" i5

It's pretty fast. You need 3.5" holders/adapters etc, look at SSD in 27" iMac threads
