Hi! So I want to buy the 8th generation iPad, but I’m not sure if I should get the 32gb or the 128gb. I would need this iPad for around 6 years, and I would be mostly be using it for school for taking notes on note taking apps like good notes or notability and for downloading online textbooks for a class. I may also watch netflix or YouTube on the device occasionally. I do have a laptop so I would be using that for my main device, but I want the iPad to act like a notebook. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

if you are thinking about keeping it for 6 years I would think about upgrading to the iPad air 4 and get the 128GB you get the A14 chip vs A12 you all so get wifi 6 wish you don't get on the iPad 8th gen and you have much longer IOS upgrades on the iPad air 4 then you would on the iPad 8 and you have 4GB of ram on the iPad Air vs only 3 on the iPad 8

I personally would take 128 GB at least if you will use it for 6 years and you want to store textbooks. I am out of college/school and I have 11 GB of books already stored on my iPad. I also have Notability files of notes worth of 5 GB. And that's just 1 year of usage. If I were you I would take 128 GB. Also I am not sure if I will be able to tolerate iPad 8 for 6 years. I am worried about the RAM. I believe that iPad 8 is with 3 GB RAM and I expect that with the next versions of iPadOS, devices with less than 4 GB will struggle a lot. I even expect 4 GB devices to struggle, but the ones with 3 GB well I expect even more issues.
