I bought a $1 tempered glass from Dollar Tree but haven't use it yet to replace my current cracked tempered glass.

Since it's only $1 I'm afraid it might not be as good as more expensive ones.

I think AT&T had good ones (I think I used their glass before) but I forget what brand they were.

You're referring to iPhone screen protectors? There are threads on this in the iPhone accessories forum (you've posted in the Mac forum which is probably not the best place for this topic), for example see the link below. You'll find lots of opinions on different screen protectors, but I personally would not expect much from a $1 product. The Belkin that I use on my 13 Pro Max was expensive but it is guaranteed by Belkin and they will replace it if there are any problems (cracking, etc). I've done that with their screen protectors in the past so I can confirm that they do honor their guarantee.

I purchased from the Apple Store (link below just as an example, they have other screen protectors available in addition to this one). This is not necessarily the best screen protector, just the one I happened to purchase. Lots of reviews on youtube as well, where different testers give their own ratings of the various choices.

I've always used Spigen glass protectors and cases, and they've never failed me.

Especially the glass protector I've been using for the last 2 plus years on my iPhone 11, it came with a handy tool that made applying it super easy.
