I am in a position where my work (or I would like to think it) requires me to carry two phones, to be able to test and use our mobile apps on both iOS and Android. I previously mostly carried an iPhone as my primary phone and a Pixel as a secondary, only exceptions were HTC One, Pixel 2 XL (Pixel 2 XL was my main Phone) and some OnePlus phones (briefly), which I all loved. Since the S24 Ultra launched, I switched to have my main Sim in the Ultra and second sim in an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I have now settled to having the primary sim in an android (currently Pixel 9 series) and secondary sim in an iPhone. Main Sim is the number everyone has, secondary has the better internet plan (even better data roaming) and only available to family and a handful of friends. WhatsApp shared number on both, so always reachable and all banking, government, verification apps on iphone because that I only switch once a year. I like the flexibility of having a small and bigger phone but can’t decide on which to chose.

iPhone 16 Pro Max, with its glorious screen and superb battery for my secondary/main phone for all apps .. which will mostly be tucked in my briefcase when I‘m not home or on my desk. And a lighter Pixel 9 pro in my pocket, with one handed use and amazing pocket-ability. Or, the smaller pro, compact but handy when needed and cuts no corners and the Pixel 9 Pro XL as the main phone, with its bigger screen so I always have a large canvas as opposed to only when needed. Also, a better suited candidate to be replaced with the S25 Ultra, or whatever big flagship Android I go for next?

First world problem I know but very eager to hear different points of views. I am also getting either of these phones from my carrier so cost not really a problem. So what is it, small iphone and big android or big iPhone and small android, which duo would you pick?
