I ain't updated my iPhone to iOS 9 yet. Some people say that a "clean install" of a new version of iOS (to reset the iPhone to factory settings) could improve the system. It could make it faster, more fluid like a new device. Is this true?

What do you all suggest me? Update via OTA? Or is it better a clean installation without backup recovery? Which way is the best for the gadget's performance?

Typically doesn't matter much one way or another. That said, if you had a beta version at some point it might be better to do a full install via iTunes to avoid any left over weird corruption or issues that are more likely to be in beta versions.
