I have an old Mac Pro 2009 upgraded to use Sierra. My iSight seems to have video only - no sound. So looks like I need another solution for Zoom sessions. I already have a studio mic plugged into an Audient interface and it would be nice to keep that. So what do I do about the video? Can I use 2 different devices? Could I even use just the video part of the iSight? What about a Canon DSLR?

If it's a question of a new webcam, what are my choices for Mac? I don't want to go above £100 and preferably less or even half that.

Ideas welcome here!

Depends! Do you want sound from everywhere you want a shotgun mic! I always like Logitech Webcams only in the 1080 version to keep costs down because 4K is to expensive for my taste!

I just started filming YouTube videos and this was the starter set that I bought. It came with a Blue Microphone and Logitech 1080 HD webcam. I have had a good experience with both so far. I'd recommend Logitech since it is a solid brand and you can get older models for less, depending on your needs.
