While waiting for my iPad to ship

Is it possible to download iTunes and buy apps while I am waiting for my iPad to ship? There are some apps that I am interested in that are on sale right now...

Anything else I can do while I am waiting (besides obsessively refreshing my order status page)?

Yeah, you can through the iTunes store.

I've already spent about £20-£30 on apps and my ipad won't be here until the end of the month.

Stores other than the US iTunes Store don't have all of the iPad apps, though. Most of them are available in all stores, but there are a few that you can't purchase in any store except the US store. Apple's apps (Pages, Keynote, Numbers, and iBooks) are only available in the US store for now.
