whining CPU and subtitles

Do any of you people have the whining CPU issue how do/did you handle it??


My second question is: How can I watch movies with subtitle files, Quicktime doesnt seem to handle subtitles. the subtitles are in .sub .srt .txt etc format. Is there any way
