Has anyone tried out Whink? I just downloaded it as it was $1 + free in-app premium upgrade. So far, really solid. I was looking for a way to organize notes, and it allows for typed and handwritten input, PDF support, etc. No Mac app (yet?) but still a really good experience in the few minutes I've tooled around with it.

It looks like a nice app.. but without any web interface or icloud sync your notes are locked in. I have tried several such notes, reminder apps with nicer UI but absence of syncing with built in reminder, notes make it less useful.

That's true - no web client hampers it in terms of sync.

I'll admit after ~20 pages of note taking, I was tired of the lagging pen input, and exported my stuff as PDF to Notability. Wow! Night and day difference. I'm keeping Whink around on my iPad, as I do think it looks nicer (and is often faster in some tasks) than Notability. But for my patent bar studying, I'll be using Notability.
