Hi guys,

I was using Yosemite GM3, all was fine.

I did Yosemite final update this morning, and now some of my apps aliases show a white icon on desktop (look at pocket and scrivener apps). I've tried to delete and re-create aliases, remove and reinstall apps: no success...

All seems ok in Applications folder, so I don't understand... bug in final release perhaps ?

Am I alone ? Any help needed.

Thanks.

Ok, after a clean install of Yosemite, the problem is still there.

I've found that if I name the alias with the same name as the app, the icon is sometimes white. If I rename the alias differently (just adding a space character for example), the icon is OK.

Here is an example with "Notabilty" app. If I add "alias" in the name of the alias, the icon is the right one. If I delete the "alias" word: White icon.

Help needed to confirm this bug. I use a 13" MBA mid 2013.

Thanks.
