Nope. It leaves all of the front exposed. It only "catches" the case where it joins the front glass. The thing about silicone cases that drives me nuts is that they are so flimsy and floppy. Depending upon the style, there is either a thin edge (near the home button) that exposes the home button which flops around like a rubberband, or one that covers the entire bottom area (including covering the home button) but is so flimsy that dust gets in.I find Silicone Cases brilliant.
They come in any tinted colour as they are see through due to the fact its Silicone.They are easy gip and non sticky. This simple design will keep your iPod from them annoying marks and scratches that magically appear from the back. I find Amozon and Ebay brilliant places to search for these; or even phone stalls.
