lately, i've been seeing a white hole in the center of my macbook's screen when it's in sleep mode. i'm just concerned that this is a defect in the design and it's time to panic. i hope a restart solves the problem though.

here's a picture to show you.

yeah no need to worry.
the apple logo lights up on the back via the screen's backlight, so if there is any bright light behind it when the monitor is off... you'll be able to see that.
