I have a 20 inch intel iMac, with a matte screen.

was thinking that, but it goes from the top where the status bar is down and the past wallpapers I have had don't seem to have anything that would cause that shape on the screen

You're lucky to have a white intel iMac w/ matte screen, that's all I'll say I want it! You can have my aluminum with glass over it..
