White line at the top of screen and bottom

i have this weird line at the top and bottom of my lock screen and sometimes home screen. It just started yesterday. What is this all about?

Almost sounds like some sort of an accessibility setting got enabled (and if so, I'm not really sure which one unfortunately).

That was it! I had turned off the screen motion. When I turned it back on it went away. Thanks

Seems like the OP was able to resolve it by changing an option (as was mentioned in previous reply).
