hey, my MB has started getting the subtle scratches (unavoidable, I know).

I was just curious if anyone had ever used applesauce polish on their white macbook (or ibook) and how well it worked. It says it removes scuffs from iPods, and they're about the same plastic.

If not that, what products have you used and how well do they work (for general cleaning of the screen and plastic, not just for the scratches)? I've heard good things about iKlear, but that's about it.

Thanks for the input!

I used Applesauce Polish on my white iPod. I had some mild scratches and it didn't really do anything to improve them. I also wasn't impressed by the quality of the cleaning cloths that were included with it.

Overall, I would say it wasn't worth the money. I'm pretty sure there are better products out there; hopefully someone else will have some suggestions.

The magic eraser is really nice and does clean alot and probably does work on the palmrests of the macbook but he was talking about the tiny freaking scratches that the outside seems to get if you look at it wrong. I'm worried about putting my macbook into a brenthaven core bag if I get one because the inside doesn't seem like it is that soft really.

I have read of this stuff working really well but I have never used it myself
