I was laying in bed this morning and opened up the instagram app to take video and noticed a clicking sound/static. After investigating a bit I figured out it was white noise coming from the microphone on the back camera whenever in photo/video mode. Is that normal? Try it yourselves and let me know. Open it up the camera/video and hope the back of the phone to your ear by the back microphone/camera area. Do you all hear white noise too?

Yeah mine does it does it too. Don’t have the vibrating camera issue people have had but can hear white noise from the back camera / microphone

Sorry to double post - but spoke to Apple Support. They said the white noise isn’t a hardware issue and it’s software related. So will just wait for an update

I have that too. On normal ios camera too. It's just making weird bzzzzzwww noises.

Me too. I don’t have problems with Instagram, Snapchat, etc. like many other people, but only with the main camera app.

I have this on my 14 Pro as well.....tested my 13 Pro and it does it as well.

Its very weird but in my IP14 pro max this noise happens when i have the photo mode but not if i select the video mode and 4K 60fps resolution. If i select HD 30 or 60fps it happens too.
