My iPad Pro That I bought on July 2017 after 14 months of normal use gave a factory defect. a white spot 1 inch above the home Botton of 1,5 inches. I spoke with the technical support of an apple store and after several test The technician agreed that the problem is a defect of the iPad. He said that the iPad have to be substituted. unfortunately is out of guarantee and it has been impossible to be substituted.
I asked the extention of the guarantee because the defect is big and generated from factory defect. according to a forum many many other iPad Pro same model had the same problem equal to mine. as you can check on this web forum: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ipad-10-5-pro-white-spot-on-screen.2117667/ The majority had the problem covered from apple care and the iPad replaced.
My question is how can we convince Apple to extend the guarantee for this product??? Since the problem is common and from the factory?
